Irosoft's experience with the departments of Justice of Quebec, Canada and New Brunswick has opened the door to an agreement with the Government of the Bahamas

Montreal, Quebec, Canada - Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - In an effort to develop an online government strategy and make government services and information more easily accessible to Bahamians, the Government of the Bahamas has signed an agreement with Irosoft to develop a Web site for online publishing of The Bahamas Acts, Regulations and related documents.

To date, only a few legislative documents have been published on the Web site of the Government of the Bahamas. Capitalizing on its technology and expertise, Irosoft has been mandated to design a Web site that enables the dissemination of all legislative documents and faithfully reflects the evolution of the legislation in The Bahamas. The mandate includes conversion of the Acts, available either in electronic or paper form, as well as hosting of the converted Acts and their publishing to the Web site.

This Web site, aimed at disseminating legislation, enables restoration and consultation of statutes and regulations at a specific point in time. Légis Québec was at that time "the first Web site for disseminating point-in-time legislation in the Northern hemisphere!" stated the then official publisher as he unveiled the Web site during the 2003 Bar Conference.
