Security
Access to Docuthèque is controlled by password.
Acces to documments, files, classification schemes, etc. is controlled by security rules defined by user or user group.
Users can share there annotations or keep them private. They can specify various access level to their shared annotations.
Document Integrity
The original documents stored in Docuthèque are never altered. The metadata entered by users are linked to the document, but are not included in it. Similarly, highlights and annotations are superimposed on the document.
Longevity and interconnectedness
Docuthèque ensures the longevity and the interconnectedness of your documents, and the metadata, classification schemes, retention schedules and annotations associated with them. These can easily be exported to international standard formats (XML, RDF, SKOS), making them transferable to other systems and accessible for a very long time.
