Founded in 1995, Irosoft is a service and technology company specializing in the valorization of structured and unstructured data. It develops tools, algorithms, and products based on natural language processing (NLP) and on modern machine-learning and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques that enable its clients to transform simple information into practical, usable data.

With its team of specialized and experienced consultants, Irosoft also offers a large array of consulting services in the field of information management and digital transformation.

Based in Montreal (Canada), an important AI development centre, Irosoft is very much involved in the IT ecosystem and keeps abreast of the latest trends and methodologies in artificial intelligence (AI). Irosoft’s main markets are the financial and insurance (FinTech), the legal (LegalTech), and the governmental fields.

Irosoft creates LexRockAI, a division that specializes in the development of decision-making tools using artificial intelligence.

Irosoft is named a finalist in the Quebec Technology Association (AQT) "Spotlight on SMEs 2019" contest. This competition brings together companies that have distinguished themselves in the field of technology and have contributed to the growth of the Quebec economy.

Irosoft is on the Government of Canada’s list of pre-qualified suppliers for artificial intelligence services, solutions and products.

Irosoft launches its artificial intelligence-based platform – ODIN –, which allows organizations to extract relevant information in order to save time and accelerate processes, and which helps them make the right decisions and maximize the impact on business profitability.

Artificial intelligence to the benefit of municipal information: Irosoft and Blanko join forces to redefine the way municipalities interact with each other and with their citizens.

Irosoft participates in the launch of the "Autonomy through Cyberjustice Technologies" Research Partnership, implemented by the Cyberjustice Laboratory (CJLab); it is the most important international research project that aims to leverage artificial intelligence to the service of justice stakeholders (litigants and legal professionals).

Irosoft wins a contract with Quebec’s Official Publisher to make the electronic versions of Acts and regulations official in Quebec.

Irosoft wins a request for proposals made by the Government of Bermuda for an Acts and regulations management system.

Irosoft launches its Paperless Meetings system.

First international contract.

Irosoft wins a contract with the Government of Bahamas to design a website for the publication of Acts and regulations.

Irosoft signs a seven-year agreement with Justice Canada to maintain its Acts and regulations system.

First version of Docuthèque, an electronic document management system compliant with the Quebec Government’s Cadre de référence gouvernemental en gestion intégrée des documents.

Project with the New Brunswick Department of Justice. Implementation of LIMS to manage Acts and regulations.

Quebec’s Official Publisher launches the LégisQuébec system. It is the first Acts and regulations system in the “northern hemisphere,” to quote the Official Publisher, capable of reproducing Acts at a specific point in time.

Irosoft wins a contract with the Department of Justice Canada, a contract that represents more than twice its sales figures, to adapt the Government of Canada’s Acts and regulations system.

Quebec’s Official Publisher asks Irosoft to develop an SGML—the predecessor to XML—conversion tool to create the files that will be transferred from an Oracle database to a FolioNews database. The results of this conversion are published on CD-ROM.

Éditions Yvon Blais (EYB) calls upon Irosoft to produce the Répertoire électronique de jurisprudence du Barreau (REJB). Irosoft also executes the Droit civil en ligne project and several other projects for EYB and Carswell, divisions of Thomson Reuters.
